Accounting Manager

In this role you’ll help improve our accounting infrastructure, manage accounting and reporting operations, and continuously improve processes. You’ll be key in ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting to internal and external stakeholders. Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Own month-end close process including, but not limited to, preparing and reviewing financial statements, journal entries, reconciliations and other duties as necessary
  • Partner with and assist in managing relationship with external bookkeepers
  • Responsible for AP and AR functions and improving processing efficiency
  • Build and maintain business relationships with internal and external partners. Collaborate with internal and external customers to proactively identify, research and resolve processing issues.
  • Provide guidance in all aspects of accounting to ensure compliance with GAAP or IFRS and regulatory requirements
  • Validate the accuracy of the GL on an ongoing basis
  • Develop and implement accounting processes to improve internal and external controls for audit readiness
  • Play a pivotal role in automation of accounting, financial and reporting processes
  • Create and maintain a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) manual for accounting policy and procedures
  • Build and expand accrual and reconciliation frameworks
  • Assist with reporting tasks, including documentation preparation for financial audit, 1099 reporting
  • Assist in administering corporate spend platform and policies
  • Engage in ad hoc projects, research and initiatives


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 5+ years of experience in accounting, ideally in both operational and technical disciplines
  • Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and internal controls
  • Experience building and evolving scalable accounting processes and systems for a high-growth company
  • Experience with NetSuite ERP systems and SalesForce
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the rest of the Microsoft Office suite
  • An entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to self-start and take ownership
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and time-management skills
  • A proactive and collaborative approach while working with others
