Cloud Cost Analyst

  • Own and drive transparency, analysis, forecasting, and governance of our cloud spend and cost efficiency.
  • Work together with IT, Finance and Cloud Engineering Teams to build out tooling and systems for cost measurement and management.
  • Find opportunities to reduce the unit cost of our engineering systems and infrastructure.
  • Create engineering awareness and drive behavior change to make significant cost and efficiency improvements across the organization


  • Self-motivated and able to work autonomously
  • Effectively collaborate with other employees remotely
  • Sound problem-solving and interpersonal skills
  • Good written and spoken communication skills in English
  • Good scripting and/or basic programming abilities (Python preferred).
  • Experience with AWS and GCP billing systems
  • 5+ years of experience working on cloud cost initiatives.
  • Ability to think strategically and tactically, with attention to detail

Bonus Experience and Skills

  • Previous experience working remotely
  • Extensive experience with multiple public cloud vendors
  • Google Cloud, AWS and/or Azure certification
  • Degree in Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, Business or other quantitative fields
