Overview

The mariadb utility, which is also called MariaDB Client, provides SQL shell access to MariaDB Enterprise Server. It supports both interactive and non-interactive use.

In 10.4 and later, the mariadb utility can be executed as either mariadb or mysql.

In 10.3 and before, only the mysql name is supported.
