Data Too Long
When a value exceeds the size of one of the TEXT data type, the value is silently truncated.
Example of data too long behavior for MEDIUMTEXT:
TRUNCATE mediumtext_example;
INSERT INTO mediumtext_example VALUES
('Overflow', RPAD('', 16777216, 'x'));
SELECT description, LENGTH(example) AS length
FROM mediumtext_example;
