Overview

MariaDB MaxScale is an advanced database proxy, firewall, and query router.

MariaDB MaxScale 2.5.8 was released on 2021-02-18. This release is of General Availability (GA) maturity.

  • Problems with prepared statements with more than 2^16 columns. (MXS-3395)

  • MaxScale crash loop with Cache Filter and Redis. (MXS-3380)
