# JSON\_DETAILED

## Syntax

```sql
JSON_DETAILED(json_doc[, tab_size])
JSON_PRETTY(json_doc[, tab_size])
```

## Description

Represents JSON in the most understandable way emphasizing nested structures.

`JSON_PRETTY` is an alias for `JSON_DETAILED` .
