# Upgrade

Upgrade a GridGain 8 cluster — a standard version upgrade, or a rolling upgrade that keeps the cluster available throughout.

GridGain supports upgrading a cluster to a newer version, either with a standard version upgrade or with a rolling upgrade that keeps the cluster online.
