reset()

Overview

Resets a connection object, clearing session state and pending results. All open cursors for the connection become invalid and must be recreated to be used again.

EXAMPLES

import mariadb

conn = mariadb.connect(
    host = 'localhost',
    user = 'root',
    password = 'secret',
    database = 'test',
    )

cursor = conn.cursor()

conn.reset() # This invalidates all cursors.

cursor = conn.cursor()

cursor.execute("SELECT * FROM sample")
lst = cursor.fetchall()
