--force (-f)

This is a command-line option for the mariadb-upgrade & mysql_upgrade commands.

In 10.5 ES, 10.5 CS, 10.4 ES, 10.4 CS:

Force execution of mysqlcheck even if mysql_upgrade has already been executed for the current version of MariaDB.

In 10.3 ES, 10.3 CS, 10.2 ES, 10.2 CS:

Force execution of mysqlcheck even if mysql_upgrade has already been executed for the current version of MySQL.
