DETAILS

Nodes buffer write-sets they receive from cluster in the received queue. The node then works through the received queue, applying them according to the global ordering to the local databases. Large numbers of entries in the received queue may trigger Flow Control to prevent the node from falling too far behind the cluster.

This status variable provides the average number of entries found in the local received queue since the node started or since the last FLUSH STATUS statement.

EXAMPLES

Use the SHOW STATUS statement to view the average number of write-sets in the received queue:

SHOW STATUS LIKE "wsrep_local_recv_queue_avg";
+----------------------------+-------+
| Variable_name              | Value |
+----------------------------+-------+
| wsrep_local_recv_queue_avg | 0.5   |
