Cluster Nodes record the current operations they undertake as their local states. Such operations can indicate when the node is initialized, joining the cluster, waiting a State Snapshot Transfer (SST), or providing an SST to another node.
This status variable provides the logical representation of the node's current local state. To retrieve the numeric representation of the local state, see the wsrep_

The node has successfully joined the cluster.
The node is waiting on a State Snapshot Transfer (SST) to bring its local databases up to date with the cluster.
