What's New in This Release

Introduction

GridGain® Control Center is a comprehensive, customizable cluster management and developer tool for Apache® Ignite™ and GridGain applications. Use Control Center to query data across caches, monitor performance metrics, define and track production alerts, take snapshots for backup and recovery, and collect and analyze API traces. The latest Control Center 2024.1 release includes a number of new features, as well as improvements and bug fixes.

New Features

Improved Snapshot Management

The Snapshots screen has been significantly improved in this release. The following tabs have been added:

• Schedules, where you can define and maintain schedules for creating, moving, checking, and deleting snapshots

• Operation History, where you can view the history of both scheduled and manual snapshot operations performed in the cluster

This feature is available to users of GridGain Ultimate edition 8.9.3 or later. For more information about snapshots in GridGain, see Snapshots and Recovery.

Improvements and Fixed Issues

Control Center Changes

CC-7144	Monitoring	It is now possible to see the host on which the node is deployed in the Nodes widget.
CC-6125	General	It is now possible to see deployment unit dependents in the Code Deployment screen.
CC-2434	Monitoring	Control Center now remembers the last opened Dashboard and Queries tabs.
CC-192	Queries	The UI responsiveness of the Queries screen is improved.
