# MariaDB Enterprise Manager 26.07.0 Release Notes

Release 26.07.0 is a GA release.
### New Features
#### Air-gapped deployment support
Enterprise Manager can now be deployed and updated in air-gapped environments, pulling the installation tarball and container images from a private OCI-compatible registry.
#### **ARM64 architecture support**
The Enterprise Manager server can now be deployed on ARM64 (aarch64) hosts in addition to x86-64. The installer detects the host architecture automatically and pulls the matching container images.
### Improvement
#### Backend rewritten in Go
The Enterprise Manager backend has been rewritten in Go, modernizing its foundation. This is an internal change with no impact on existing configuration or workflows. In-place upgrade from the previous release is supported: the installer preserves existing configuration, TLS certificates, and data volumes.
### Packaging
* Enterprise Manager is delivered as a suite of container images (via MariaDB Enterprise Docker Registry).
* The Agent is delivered via the `mema-agent` OS package via RPM/DEB packages (via MariaDB Enterprise Tools repository).
