Release Notes for MariaDB Connector/R2DBC 0.8.2

Overview

MariaDB Connector/R2DBC is a non-blocking interface between Java applications and MariaDB Server. MariaDB Connector/R2DBC enables the development of Java 8+ applications for MariaDB Enterprise.

This connector provides MariaDB features such as:

  • ed25519, PAM authentication support

  • Use of MariaDB 10.5 returning function to permit Statement.returnGeneratedValues

MariaDB Connector/R2DBC 0.8.2 was released on 2020-05-12. This is the second Alpha release. This release is of Alpha maturity, and should not be used with production workloads. This release is compatible with R2DBC 0.8.2 specification.
