# mysqldump

These days, the client is called [mariadb-dump](https://mariadb.com/docs/server/clients-and-utilities/backup-restore-and-import-clients/mariadb-dump). Previously, it was named `mysqldump` , and is still accessible under that old name until MariaDB 11.0 when it was removed.
