mysql Command-Line Client

The mysql command-line client is the former name of the mariadb SQL shell, still available as a symlink or alternate binary for compatibility.

The client is now called mariadb. The old name, mysql, can still be used, via a symlink in Linux, or an alternate binary in Windows.

mysql is a simple SQL shell with GNU readline capabilities.
