MariaDB SkySQL is operated by a team of MariaDB site reliability engineers (SREs) and backed by the engineering expertise of MariaDB. Foundation Tier services come with the Standard Support Plan which includes monitoring, operation of nightly automated backups, and technical support. Power Tier customers choose between Enterprise and Platinum Support Plans, optimized for mission-critical deployments requiring 24×7 support (P1 issues) and higher support SLAs.

SkyDBA is an additional level of support available to customers with either Enterprise or Platinum Support Plans.

SkyDBAs extend the capabilities of your in-house DBAs with the backing from a global team of expert MariaDB DBAs, available 24/7 for the most severe (P1) issues. MariaDB's SkyDBAs can manage your MariaDB SkySQL databases both proactively and reactively so you can focus on your core business.

Remote Log In Support

Personalized Service

MariaDB's SkyDBAs provide strategic guidance specific to your unique deployments – things like performance tuning, High Availability (HA), best practice recommendations, and code review. SkyDBA services include an onboarding call to begin our initial assessment of your database servers, including gathering information about the architecture, operating systems, database server versions, backup schedules, and so on.

Monitoring software will be updated in your environment to alert you and the SkyDBA team of issues. Alerts such as server availability and replication health will be configured to automatically open issues in the Customer Support Portal (linked from the SkySQL portal).
