# Status Variables Added in MariaDB 12.1
This is a list of [status variables](/docs/server/server-management/variables-and-modes/server-status-variables.md) that have been added in the [MariaDB 12.1](/docs/release-notes/community-server/old-releases/12.1/changes-and-improvements-in-mariadb-12.1.md) series.
`Feature_vector_index` first appeared in [MariaDB 11.8](/docs/release-notes/community-server/11.8/what-is-mariadb-118.md); the MariaDB 12.0 series predates the vector index feature's merge into the 12.x line, so it did not enter 12.x until MariaDB 12.1.2 and is listed here for the 12.1 series.
