This is a command-line option for the
mysqld commands (arg: Required).
Maximum number of clients allowed to connect concurrently.

--max-connections command-line option sets the maximum number of clients allowed to connect concurrently.

When MariaDB Server (
mariadbd) is started via the command-line, the
--max-connections command-line option can be specified:
$ mariadbd .. --max-connections=1000 ..
