This is a command-line option for the
mysqld commands (arg: Required).
Controls how many threads are cached for use by new client connections. Threads are freed after 5 minutes of idle time.

--thread-cache-size command-line option sets the number of threads that are cached for new client connections. Threads are freed after 5 minutes of idle time.

When MariaDB Server (
mariadbd) is started via the command-line, the
--thread-cache-size command-line option can be specified:
$ mariadbd .. --thread-cache-size=512 ..
