# NATIONAL VARCHAR

## Overview

Variable-length string of specific character set with limit up to 65,535 bytes.

## EXAMPLES

CREATE TABLE national_varchar_example (
  example NATIONAL VARCHAR(32)

```

SHOW CREATE TABLE national_varchar_example\G

```sql
