Returns the day of the year for the given date, in a range of 1 to 366.

Incorrect datetime value

A value is considered "Incorrect datetime value" when it is not a valid or existent datetime value. When SQL_MODE is strict (the default) an Incorrect datetime value generates an error. If strict mode is not in effect, a warning is generated.
