The current release of SkySQL is the default experience.

Existing SkySQL customers can switch to the "SkySQL previous release" using the banner at the top of the SkySQL Portal interface.

Xpand

In the current release of SkySQL, this topology is production-ready and generally available:

  • Xpand Distributed SQL

Services launched on the current release of SkySQL with this topology on or after 2023-03-30 are GA maturity.

Services launched on the current release of SkySQL with this topology before 2023-03-30 are Technical Preview. Technical Preview features are not for production workloads.

Enterprise Server

In the current release of SkySQL, these topologies are production-ready and generally available:

  • Enterprise Server Single Node

  • Enterprise Server With Replica(s)

Services launched on the current release of SkySQL with these topologies on or after 2023-02-18 are GA maturity.

Services launched on the current release of SkySQL with these topologies before 2023-02-18 are Technical Preview. Technical Preview features are not for production workloads.

ColumnStore

In the current release of SkySQL, this topology is production-ready and generally available:

  • ColumnStore Data Warehouse

Services launched on the current release of SkySQL with this topology on or after 2023-03-31 are GA maturity.

Services launched on the current release of SkySQL with this topology before 2023-03-31 are Technical Preview. Technical Preview features are not for production workloads.

Technical Previews

Independent Releases

Services on SkySQL previous release are separate and independent from services on the current release of SkySQL.

You can try the current release of SkySQL without impacting your existing production services and workloads on the SkySQL previous release.
