DETAILS
When using auto-commit with MariaDB Server, the Server treats all queries as transactions, committing the transaction after the query executes. With a Cluster Node, the Node also performs a certification check on writes to replicate the write-set to the cluster. These transactions can fail due to conflicts with the cluster without returning errors to the client.
This system variable determines the number of retries the node attempts when auto-committed transactions fail. The auto-commit feature is enabled using the autocommit system variable.
