Overview
Returns a string converted to uppercase.
USAGE
UPPER(string)

DETAILS
UPPER() is a string function that returns the input value with all lowercase characters transformed into uppercase based on the character set mapping in effect.
A NULL is returned if the argument is NULL.
EXAMPLES
SELECT UPPER('Mariadb');
+------------------+
| UPPER('Mariadb') |
+------------------+
| MARIADB |
+------------------+
