Overview
This is a command-line option for the mariadb-backup
& mariabackup
commands (arg: Required).
In 11.4 ES, 10.6 ES, 10.6 CS, 10.5 ES, 10.5 CS:
This option specifies time in seconds that mariadb-backup should wait for queries that would block FTWRL before running it. If there are still such queries when the timeout expires, mariadb-backup terminates with an error. Default is 0, in which case mariadb-backup does not wait for queries to complete and starts FTWRL immediately.
In 10.4 ES, 10.4 CS, 10.3 ES, 10.3 CS, 10.2 ES, 10.2 CS:
This option specifies time in seconds that innobackupex should wait for queries that would block FTWRL before running it. If there are still such queries when the timeout expires, innobackupex terminates with an error. Default is 0, in which case innobackupex does not wait for queries to complete and starts FTWRL immediately.
