TLS CA Certificate in PEM format

mariadb-shell [--ssl-ca <path/to/TLS_CA_file>]

--ssl-ca

TLS is not used by default

Path to a PEM file that contains one or more X509 certificates for trusted Certificate Authorities (CAs) to use for TLS

EXAMPLES

To connect to a host using the CA certificates from the /etc/ssl/mariadb/ca.pem file:

$ mariadb-shell \
   --host host.example.com \
   --user user_name \
   --password 'user_password' \
   --ssl-ca /etc/ssl/mariadb/ca.pem
