Overview

Returns the microseconds from the TIME or DATETIME expression as a number.

MICROSECOND(timestamp)

The TIME or DATETIME value to evaluate

DETAILS

  • MICROSECOND() is a date-time function that returns the microseconds portion of a time value.

The return value is a number in the range 0 to 999999.

A NULL is returned if the argument is NULL.
