Getting Started with MariaDB ColumnStore¶

  1. MariaDB ColumnStore is available for both MariaDB Enterprise Server and MariaDB Community Server.

    Choose your server:

  2. Choose your deployment type:

  3. Deploy MariaDB ColumnStore:

  4. Connect to the deployment using a client, such as MariaDB Client:

    $ sudo mariadb
    
  5. Create a database using the CREATE DATABASE statement:

    CREATE DATABASE columnstore_db;
    
  6. Create a ColumnStore table CREATE TABLE statement:

    CREATE TABLE columnstore_db.analytics_test (
       id INT,
       str VARCHAR(50)
    ) ENGINE = ColumnStore;
    
  7. Load data.
