Overview
Returns the Soundex representation of a string.
USAGE
SOUNDEX(string)

DETAILS
SOUNDEX()
is a string function that returns the Soundex string equivalent of the string argument.
A Soundex string will be the same for similar sounding words. As an example, the words "seas" and "sees" have the same return value.
A NULL
is returned if the argument is NULL
.
