Anders Karlsson

Principal Sales Engineer

After some 15 years with commercial databases as consultant, Sales Engineer and in many other roles, I joined MySQL in 2004 to work as a Sales Engineer. In 2010 I decided I needed some more technical experience, so I join Recorded Future as database Architect. After 2 years with that, I realized I missed the close customer contacts and decided to join SkySQL, again as Sales Engineer. In 2014 SkySQL completed the merged with Monty Program, creating MariaDB Corporation, which is where I now work as a Principal Sales Engineer.

Martin Percival

Principal Solution Architect, Red Hat

Martin Percival has been employed by the IT world for 32 years and is at pains to tell his children that using social media is not the same as understanding the internet. He has worked in areas as diverse as support and consultancy but quickly discovered a love of explaining IT for varied audiences. Martin’s love of synthesising broader ideas from small details has led him naturally to Red Hat, where he now works as a Solutions Architect, helping others understand Red Hat’s growing technology offering and the Open Source model upon which it based.
