Linear regression
Does mariaDB have a linear regression function? I have been searching via google and the mariaDB KB, but so far have not found any evidence that there is one. In particular, I am looking for a function that not only returns the m (slope), but also the R (correlation coefficiency).

No, there is no single function for this, so you'll have to build the queries to do so. There's a recipe in Paul DuBois' MySQL Cookbook.
