Access 2016 connecting to MariaDB using version 3.05 error

Hi

I am trying to connect to a MariaDB database from Access 2016 using the 3.05 connector.

When i create the connector it connect perfectly.

I can then choose that connection in access to link the tables which are shown but when you actually try and link you get the following error

Reserved error (-7731) there is no message for this error.

If i use the version 2.0.15 connector it work fine.

I need to upgrade through as i need to start using SSL.

Please advise.

Thank you for your question. It's better to create an issue here https://jira.mariadb.org/ - please push there the button "Create, select in open dialog project "MariaDB Connector/ODBC", and describe the issue. At the moment I don't have Access 2016 to try to repeat your problem. Please provide in your issue report ODBC trace of your unsuccessful table linking attempt. And there is already 3.0.6 version out. There is always a chance that the problem is solved there.
