Are Releases Cumulative?

Is each new release of MariaDB Server cumulative, that is, does it continue all enhancements and corrections to date, or just the incremental changes between point releases within a major release? Thank you.

Answer Answered by Daniel Black in this comment.

The incremental changes between point releases are enhancements and corrections.

Changes in major release 10.2 for instance are merged up to 10.3 all the way up to the latest before release.

As such any fix/enhancement in a lower major version are carried though to the higher versions.

I hope this answers your question.
