Binary Log Location
Hello, I'm new to MariaDB, and unless I'm missing something, binary logs cannot be located separately into another folder/directory ? I see that they follow the datadir variable but that includes everything. Please confirm so that I may move on to other requests. Thanks !

You can specify a name, see Activating the Binary Log.
