Building MariaDB on FreeBSD

One may just use mariadb's ports in FreeBSD ports tree (databases/mariadb(55)?-{client,server}) (or precompiled packages when available). See http://www.freshports.org/databases/mariadb-server for 5.3 and http://www.freshports.org/databases/mariadb55-server for 5.5
