Can I Unencrypt an encrypted innodb space

I encrypted the Innodb space and its working. I can see the tables were encrypted one by one after the restart
Now, is there a way to turn off the encryption? If I just change the my.cnf files, it does not unencrypt the tables in innodb
Answer
Changing a value in the configuration file has no effect unless the server is restarted.
