Circular replication

I am creating a circular replication for Laravel application, for 6 islands where internet frequently go down. To keep db available when the internet go down on an island, Mariadb Circular replication seems to be the only option. Can anyone guide me what type of db changes i need to do? I guess i need to use uuid() instead of auto increment in tables. Any other tips that can help me. Please guide.
