Comments - Galera mysqld_multi - possible bug

Were you able to start the cluster without making any modifications to mysqld_multi script? In my opinion, mysqld_multi, in its current state, is not really suitable to start a Galera cluster. For instance when starting mysqld instance, the second node should be started only after the first one is fully up and ready. But apparently that is not the case. Also, for production, its not recommended to run all the nodes on same physical server.

No I needed to add a delay in the script between instances starting up and shutting down. I also needed to change the RC start scripts name from a 50 to a 60 to delay those as well on a system reboot. Otherwise not all the mysql servers wouldn't start.
