There are long outstanding bugs in this realm - MDEV-20394 because making a compatible tarball is hard/compromising (to quality) and/or fragile.

Recommend using the RPM repo from our archive per yum - archive:

In /etc/yum.repo.d/MariaDB.repo:

[mariadb]
name = MariaDB-11.6.2
baseurl= http://archive.mariadb.org/mariadb-11.6.2/yum/rhel/$releasever/$basearch
