How do I fix this? You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MariaDB server version for the right syntax to use near '' at line 1

Showing the actual SQL query would be a good start in resolving this question. The "near " is a very concrete clue as to where in the SQL syntax the error is. The manual pages are https://mariadb.com/kb/en/select/ and the like depending on which SQL command you are using. Pay attention to the detail.
