Yes it's a lot of questions, sorry about that :)

So it's two separate builds, one for MariaDB and then the other one is specifically only for mariadb-dump, correct?

cmake --build . --target mariadb-dump
sudo cmake --install .

Does this mean I do not have to uninstall MariaDB before using this, as it seems to be a separate build and install alongside MariaDB? I have MariaDB 11.2.2 right now.
