Comments - HOW TO MAKE CHANGES AVAILABLE AFTER EACH INSERT AND UPDATE

7 years, 5 months ago Jan Steinman

Can you explain further?

Inserts and updates to tables are normally instantly available, and do not require the server to be "stopped and started."

If these inserts and updates are inside a transaction, you must wait for the rest of the transaction to complete before the result of the insert or update can be seen. That's correct behaviour, and isn't going to change.
