Well I got so far but couldnt win the battle went with the ourdelta 64bit rpm which installed ok but couldnt get easyapache on cpanel to recognise the mysql installation when compiling php so had to revert back to standard mysql.
I don't have any experience with cpanel, so I can't help directly, but you could join the maria-discuss mailing list and ask there. There might be someone on the list that does have cpanel + MariaDB experience.
