Comments - Installing and Configuring a ColumnStore System using the Amazon AMI

Hey Guys,

I have successfully deployed a CS cluster on AWS, but if I check the processes I do not see any mariadb (mysql) processes which would listen on port 3306. Also, running mcsmysql results in the following error:

ERROR 2002 (HY000): Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/home/mariadb-user/mariadb/columnstore/mysql/lib/mysql/mysql.soc' (2)

netstat -anp | grep LISTEN

Do you have any idea on how mysql is to be started from this point onwards?
