I'm installing mariadb-10.11.6-linux-systemd-x86_64 on CentOS 7.9-2009. Trying to use systemd to start/stop/status and noticed this entry, is it a typo?
grep ReadWrite mariadb.service ReadWritePaths=-/usr/local/mysql/data
The docs say to implement an entry similar to this, without the '-' but it does not work on this version of CentOS(7.9) either. This is how I corrected it:
cat /etc/systemd/system/mariadb.service.d/datadir.conf [Service] ReadWriteDirectories=/usr/local/mysql/data
