To backup binlog folder with mariabackup command add option "--binlog-info" in your mentioned mariabackup command
mariabackup --binlog-info --defaults-file="/etc/my.cnf" --backup --target-dir /mariadb_back/backup/ --user root --password xxxxx
--binlog-info : Defines how MariaDB Backup retrieves the binary log coordinates from the server.
thank you for your reply. i tired to --binlog-info=ON already, it doesn't backup binlog folder. thank you.
