MariaDB and MariaDB ColumnStore on a single OS?

I am sorry if I'm asking in wrong place. It can also be dumb, but I would like to know if is it possible to run MariaDB and MariaDB ColumnStore symultaneously on a single operation system? The cause of asking is that I'm going to do a simple comparision of performance of these two engines. It would be absolutely great and I would be really grateful if someone would give me any advice or tips on how to do such comparision.

Greetings,

MariaDB Columnstore aka AX also provides you with up-to-date MariaDB Server. It is 10.3.9 ATM. Please note that Columnstore is an MPP engine so it works the best when scaled on a number of hosts and on a huge datasets. However it is better then Server executes OLAP workload on a singular host.
