same issue on my UBUNTU 14.4 LTS 64bit MariaDB 10.0 server when running command apt-get install ?
I have not tested on my openSUSE 13.1 64bit MariaDB 5.5 server.
See the Enabling TokuDB page. That command is no longer necessary since 10.0.6
INSTALL SONAME 'ha_tokudb'; should do the trick
