Comments - Is there any java connector for MariaDB than the one from Mysql(mysql-java-5.1.6.jar) ?

If you really want to change connector, the drizzle JDBC connector or the JDBC connector that SkySQL supplies (based on the drizzle connector) are the only options that I know of.

However it would be nice to know why you can't use the original MySQL JDBC connector from Oracle; For most cases there is no license requirement for using the JDBC connector as the GPL for the connector will not affect your application because you have the JDBC manager in between.
